What is not pictured are LED strip lights underneath the gutters (to light the gutter below it). I built it in Fusion to see roughly how many gutters I could get away with.theoretically. I'm honestly not 100% sure about load bearing. Thanks Jake! That's a great question too. Seeing as how this is turning into a $1,000 build, any advice is much appreciated! So I know that I'll have to do a lot of trial and error (and probably a reasonable amount of breeding) to get it dialed in. As it so happens I'm trained in plant breeding and seed production on the 8 major veg crops. So I'll be growing storage crops outdoors in the summer and the more common veg that we buy in the tent. I noticed that food most of the year in stores is subpar and over priced. I moved to Minnesota and prefer to garden outdoors. What do you all think? Any ideas for improvements? Am I crazy? A word on the why (If you want to know). Also to note: the boom room has a humidifier so the tent will be circulating CO2 as well as increased humidity levels. I doubt there will be very many mushrooms growing, so it should be manageable. I'll be installing an inline fan to put negative pressure in the boom room, and will vent along the tent ceiling. So I'm trying to create a system where CO2 levels are kept acceptable (using the plants to scrub the air. Normal practice is to vent the grow tents outside. I've heard that increased CO2 levels can help plants grow faster. But I may leave the one wall (with two 5 gal buckets) on the east side open and trellis vines up it.

For the 5 gal buckets (most likely will be fabric pots in practice), I plan to make shelves to stack them. From there I'll swap out blocks in the gutters every as needed. I still need to figure out how to add a flood and drain (possibly external to the tent) system to irrigate. My workflow is essentially, plant into soil blocks (4" max sizes" and sit them in the gutter. The frame in the center is to hold a potting tray and necessary tools. The transparent box is the 'North Spore Boom Room' to grow culinary mushrooms. So basically, what you are seeing in the pic are gutters (the long blocks on one wall) for things like lettuce, herbs, and similar items. I do admit, its been a decade + since using a cad program and it took me 4 tries after watching the videos to make this frame. The pictures I had imagined turned out to not work at all when I was putting them down. Its a blast! I've been trying to maximize the efficiency of my grow tent space(4'x8'x80"). First of all, thank you to Maker Pipe for posting those videos on using Fusion 360.
